Welcome to Rapid Reforest, a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to reforestation, biodiversity restoration, and carbon-offset initiatives. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, our Impact Report services, donation and offset programs, and any other products or services provided by Rapid Reforest (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing our website, completing a form, purchasing an Impact Report, or making a donation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Definitions
“Rapid Reforest,” “we,” “us,” “our” refers to Rapid Reforest, Inc., a registered nonprofit organization.
“User” or “you” refers to any individual or organization using our website or Services.
“Impact Report” refers to the carbon emission report provided based on the data submitted by the user.
“Offset” or “Tree-Planting Contribution” refers to donations made to fund verified reforestation activities that absorb CO₂.
“Certificate” refers to a digital or printed document acknowledging the user’s support of reforestation or offset activities.
“Website” refers to rapidreforest.com and any associated subdomains (including forms.rapidreforest.com).
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use our website solely for lawful purposes. It is not permitted to:
Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the website without permission;
Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the website or servers;
Falsify your identity or affiliation with Rapid Reforest.
All content, including text, images, and data, is owned by or licensed to Rapid Reforest and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
4. Impact Report Service
4.1 Description
Rapid Reforest’s Impact Report calculates your estimated carbon footprint based on data submitted through online forms. Each report includes:
Breakdown of emissions by category (Scopes 1, 2, and 3);
Estimate of the number of trees needed for offset;
Recommendations for reduction and compensation.
4.2 Accuracy and Limitations
The report is based on the information you provide. Rapid Reforest does not guarantee absolute accuracy and is not responsible for errors or omissions in the submitted data.
4.3 Delivery
Reports are delivered electronically in PDF format via email. Delivery time may vary depending on data complexity.
4.4 Refund Policy
Because these are personalized digital services, reports are non-refundable once generated.
4.5 Use of Reports
Reports are for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute certified carbon accounting under ISO 14064 or similar standards unless explicitly stated.
5. Carbon Offsets and Certificates
5.1 Nature of Offsets
Your contributions help fund verified reforestation activities. While they support ecosystem restoration and CO₂ absorption, they do not constitute legally certified carbon credits unless registered under standards such as Verra or Gold Standard.
5.2 Certificates
Certificates recognize participation in reforestation or estimated offset activities. They may not be resold or used for regulatory purposes without specific certification.
5.3 Transparency
Project locations, species planted, and partner organizations are published on our website whenever possible. Rapid Reforest prioritizes transparency in all activities.
6. Donations and Payments
6.1 Payment Processing
Payments for reports, offsets, or donations are processed securely through Stripe or other trusted systems. Prices are listed in USD or BRL depending on location.
6.2 Tax-Deductible Donations
Rapid Reforest is a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States. Donations made in the U.S. are tax-deductible according to applicable laws. In Brazil, they may be eligible under certain programs.
6.3 Refunds
Due to their nature, donations and payments are non-refundable.
7. Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Rapid Reforest complies with GDPR and LGPD regulations.
By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described.
8. Responsibilities and Disclaimers
All Services are provided “as is,” without warranties.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or Services.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy and project integrity but cannot guarantee results beyond our control (e.g., environmental factors).
9. Intellectual Property
All logos, names, and content related to Rapid Reforest, Impact Report, and Global Travel Impact Score are intellectual property of Rapid Reforest and may not be used without authorization.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of:
The United States, for U.S.-based users and transactions; and
Brazil, for Brazil-based users and transactions.
Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts according to the user’s country.
11. Updates and Modifications
Rapid Reforest may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once published. Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
